Join us for our day trip in the beautiful historic town of Ludlow! It’s a thriving medieval market town and an architectural gem with over 500 listed buildings, mainly Georgian or half-timbered, Ludlow is a feast for the eyes.
The historic town centre and the 11th century Ludlow Castle are situated on a cliff above the River Teme and are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marches.
At Ludlow Food Festival they like to celebrate delicious food and drink from Ludlow and the Welsh Marches. 2018 will be the 24th Ludlow Food Festival held in the beautifully historic Ludlow Castle and around town. They champion real food and drink from real producers!
Featuring more than 160 top quality small independent food and drink producers from Ludlow and the Marches, free talks and demonstrations, children’s activities, ‘hands-on’ workshops and much more all inside Ludlow Castle. Throughout Ludlow’s historic town centre there is seemingly no end of food-related events, such as the famous Ludlow Sausage Trail and Real Ale Trail, not forgetting all the old favourites both inside and outside the Castle, including pudding tastings, markets and much much more!
