Enjoy a Summer’s Day visiting three of England’s delightful market towns by coach and train. First we pay a brief visit to Settle where we catch the mid-corning train to Appleby. Crossing the famous multi-arched Ribblehead Viaduct. Set in the quiet and vale of Eden at the front of the Pennine Hills Appleby’s wide main street Boroughgate has been described as one of the finest in England, here you will have ample time to browse and have a spot of lunch. In the afternoon we transfer to kendal with more free time to wander amongst the individual shops, cafes and galleries.
8.15am – Coach will depart from Pick-up point. Oldham Bus Station Stand C
10.00am – Approx arrival in Settle for train to Appleby at 10.22am
11.20am – Arrival in Appleby for coach transfer into Appleby for free time
1.30pm – Depart Appleby for Kendall for free time
4.30pm – Depart Kendal for return journey back to Oldham
6.30pm – Approx arrival back in Oldham
